Pool Information Summer 2020

All patrons must sign our Aquatics COVID-19 Waiver prior to using our Aquatic Facilities.

Adult Lap Swim

We are only taking reservations through our Community Pass registration software for adult lap swim times (ages 18 and over). To make a reservation for adult lap swim, create an account on the Community Pass Home Page and then click "Browse Activities." We will leave each of the time slots with half capacity left for walk-in. There is only walk-in registration for any lap lanes during our Community Swim. The lifeguards will blow their whistle at the end of each time slot and ask patrons to clear the pool.

Community Swim Time

With the outbreak of COVID-19 and limited pool time, we are exploring a new format called Community Swim. This will be a multi-use time in which 3 lap lanes will be available in the deep end, and the remainder of the pool will be set up in an open swim format. We hope this new format will provide time for families, kids, adults, and small groups to come together and enjoy our community pool. In keeping with the guidelines put out by the Maine CDC, there will be capacity limits and physical distancing will be in effect during this time period.

We are looking forward to this new format and hope you take a break from your back yard and come out and enjoy swimming at the Kiwanis Pool.
