How do I get help to quit smoking?
Here are two of the options available to help individuals who wish to quit using tobacco: Call the Maine Tobacco Helpline. The Helpline offers supportive, confidential, free phone support for those thinking about quitting or who want to quit using tobacco. Eligible callers may qualify for nicotine replacement therapy (i.e. gum) through the Medication Voucher Program. The number to call is 1-800-207-1230. Make an appointment with your healthcare provider to discuss options for treatment and support.
